Why we exist

Japan is home to a quietly growing Muslim community — Japanese nationals who embraced Islam, professionals from Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and beyond, students building futures, and converts finding their identity. For all of them, the question of marriage carries unique weight.
There was no platform built specifically for this reality. Mainstream matrimonial apps were not designed for the Japanese context, the language needs, or the Islamic values of this community. Al-Nikah Japan was built to fill that gap — not as a business venture, but as a community service.
We are not a dating app. We are not a social network. We are a focused, privacy-first introduction platform whose sole purpose is to help sincere Muslims in Japan take the first steps toward a blessed nikah.

Al-Nikah Japan is an independent platform built by and for the Muslim community in Japan. We are not backed by a large corporation or driven by advertising revenue. Our incentive is simple: to help sincere Muslims in Japan find their path to nikah with dignity.
We are committed to operating within Japanese law and Islamic ethics simultaneously. Every policy decision is reviewed against both frameworks.
As the platform grows, we intend to publish our community guidelines, privacy policies, and Islamic advisory notes publicly — so every member knows exactly what they are joining.
